Firmino is ****e now, its like playing with 10 men the amount he gives away possession.

Used to be brilliant, but been way off for years now and we can't keep making excuses for him. Nunez may be raw but even raw he's scored 6 goals in 4 games he has featured in. He has start from now on in.

This almost sounds condescending. Do City employ the use of a donkey to wear a team down before poor old Haaland has to step in?

I use the term donkey lovingly obviously.

Amazing start to the season from Nunez. Goal in the Community Shield and then a debut goal, both from the bench.

His finish was class also. Though it was a bit of an underwhelming result and performance, there seemed to be decent signs in the potential of the front three working well together. Particularly Salah and Nunez.

Yeah Salah and Nunez definitely seem to have a connection already.

He has to start the next game. He is up and running now, the pressure is off him, let him loose and see how he does!

They do and anything that encourages Salah to pass the ball a bit more is fine with me

You mean the Salah that had the most assists for our team in the league last season and second highest amount of assists for us in all comps?

Double figures in assists four out of the past five seasons for us in all comps?

Salah's passing/chance creation is just fine imo.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

                Yeah that guy

Maybe it was because our style of play was different/people weren't making the runs, but seeing him square it to Darwin felt like a breath of fresh air

I understand what you mean. I felt like last season our forward line was made up of three individuals. There did not seem to be the silky interplay of previous seasons, and I put that down to Firmino not playing.

I think it is inceasingly looking like its time to offload Firmino. I think that Elliott could do a better job.

Its wierd how Firmino has lost the basics of passing and ball control. Players get slower as they get closer to 30, but should still be able to knock it about.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

it's been an incredible drop off in form. Actually I don't know you can even say form after 3 years of below par showings.

Just to clarify, 3 years would include title winning season?

He was ok in the title winning season but not premium Bobby. He is no longer the "linchpinch" in our side and hasn't been for a long time. He ll be sold soon.

But we can scrap that for arguments sake and it's only a 2 years then

He's going to play less for sure, but I doubt he'll be sold unless he wants to go.

I don't think he will accept been a squad player, which unfortunately is what he is these days.

                                Are we winning?
