"He doesn't really dribble, he just passes to himself". I laughed when I read this. Another way of saying that his technique is poor.... which it is. He has many qualities, a sublime touch or a weighted pass he does not. Also, he's not anywhere near 6ft 5

Not really, I read that as he's faster than most and does the old 'kick and run' around defenders like prime Mane, rather than try dribble around them like Salah (used to)

And he's also laid off several nice passes in recent weeks.

Klopp said in training his touch is perfect. I think he's just still in that awkward stage, trying too hard and rushing things a bit. It's a great article. I think he's going to be a worldie myself.

With respect, Klopp would never come out and say "Yeah his touch is ****e". But I agree he is absolutely trying too hard and rushing things no doubt about it but also I don't think he'll ever be that classy, sublime touch type striker nor does he have to be to be successful. He isn't great technically but neither is Haaland, if he can put the ball in the net nobody will care.

I've also just bought him for my FF this week too

Yeh they are like chalk and cheese, Haaland might have 2 touchesall game and score 2 goals.

Darvwin might have 10 attempts to score those 2 goals and then tried to headbutt someone twice, srarted a fight with a ball boy, started a fight with himself, laid on a couple of chances for other and missed 3 open goals and scored a worldie

he's a maniac, I can't help be laugh when I watch him play as he's an absolute wildcard. Haaland might not be great technically but he is a focused goal machine and a specimen. Nunez needs to fine tune his game and work on his composure in front of goal. His movement is so good and his is so quick that he will always get chances, just needs to be a bit more clinical in front of goal.

He reminds me of a stronger version of Torres, he can shoot from all angles and his long range shooting is pretty accurate. If he can work on his composure when one on one with the keeper and he'll be double figures very soon.

He reminds me of Torres, just a lot lot worse in every respect.

Yeah once he relaxes he’ll score a shed load for us, I’m confident of that.

Having an absolute wildcard suits us perfectly. We were at our best when we were unpredictable up front. All pace on both flanks and swapping the front positions.

He's been a pube away from scoring a worldie a couple of times - I think when one of those goes in we'll see a different player after it

On form, Torres was phenomenal with the ball at his feet, I watched some videos of him a while back and was surprised at how good his all round play was. I think the circumstances of how he left has soured our memories (and maybe how good Suarez turned out to be).

Nunez is no where near him in terms of skill. He's faster and more physical/direct than Torres was.
