I don't think he lacks technical ability, watch the way he strikes the ball, I think if anything he trys to be too technical and focuses on hitting the ball well or hard. How many goals does Jota get from mis hitting or not getting a good contact? Loads it's about just getting something on it and having the composure to put it in the right place.

To me it feels like Nunez would rather hit a good shot straight at the keeper than mis-hit or scuff one into the corner.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The coaches should tell Nunez to aim for the keeper when he is in front of the goal.

        True, but since?

The more time he has, the worse the outcome. He is not a natural finisher, he scores goals and will score goals in his career because he is a beast physically and is always moving but his general game is poor, his technique and touch are poor and if we want to win the big things, we need better imo as these things will be exposed when you are playing for a club like Liverpool.

Give him contact lenses so he sees three keepers and tell him to hit the ones on the outside.

I mean training him to aim for the post wouldn't be an awful idea. Anyway, he'll be gone season after next.
                Really?

The club need to be prepared to absorb the loss and sell him. We might have lost to Newcastle away, but I think Danns would have scored at least as many as Nunez this year given the same game time.

Guile? Sunday league players can place the ball into the corner. Its all about technique and composure, and is pretty basic. You dont need to be elite.

He is 2,738th out of 2,752 players in the "Non penalty Goals- Expected Goals" table in the top 5 leagues in europe.

Arguably that makes him pretty much the worst finisher in any position. Thats not unlucky. Thats utterly ****e by any standard.

Sick of the sight of him, he's absolutely appalling. That's as nice as I can dress up what I really want to say about him.

As Rooney and Sturridge were saying, you can learn it. It's all about situation specific repetition. You won't learn it in the standard drills, but you can practice different types of finish that you want to improve on.

Remember the interviews with Danns' dad where he was laughing about his first goal because he'd been screaming at him "dink it" whenever he was in that situation, and then when it mattered that's exactly what he did?

Once he learns English I'll advise him to get a finishing coach for an hour a week after training...

He made progress and now is regressing. Let's keep a hold of third place, see off Klopp as the legend that he is and hope Edwards and team puts in the work to love us forward.

I meant from an athletic point of view, never stops running, always harassing and moving but yeah you're right he does get bullied. His hold up play is ****e because his technique is ****e imo.

hopefully the new manager (and formation change?) might help get the best of him but if he cant stay onside / hold the ball up / finish it might be a struggle
