      He was sent to warm up, did 30 seconds then sat back down whilst the fitness coach pleaded with him to carry on, then brought on a couple mins later? Odd behaviour

        Did see right yesterday after Nunez fumbled the ball and fell over the camera cut to Robertson on the bench who was sniggering to Elliott which looked awkward as he didn’t see the funny side of it. Hope I’m wrong but if not it was quite immature and not a great look for him.

          Robertson was just reminiscing about the day when Salah clattered someone in the canteen over some toast, and had forgotten that Elliot was the lad on the receiving end.
          I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

            When you look at how he was playing for Porto he looks a totally different player. The one thing I noticed tho was that most of the best finishes from any compilation were all behind closed doors COVID games.

              He was very confident at Benfica and was v hot in the season preceding when we bought him. His confidence looks shot to bits and maybe a new voice will help him. Him and Diaz in the front 3 don’t work for me - it should be one of the other plus Salah and a killer in front of goal I.e. Jota

                There were videos of the preseason training when he joined and he looked terrible, like he had zero technique compared to the others training. I think he felt out of his depth since day one, looking like someone who cannot carry the weight of expectation/pressure of playing for a huge club after a huge fee in the Premier League. Maybe some culture shock thrown in for good measure. That he then got sent off and then fluffed sitters early on made it worse and maybe hasn’t recovered psychologically. But whatever the reason, it hasn’t worked out after two seasons and we can’t afford to keep waiting.
