    Hi Helios
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Based on my disappointing form of late, there aren't enough drugs in the world.

Yep, all fine thanks. Then again, I haven't let the sat nav direct me over a mountain pass!

Does anyone know how I can tot up how much climbing (vertical height gain) there is on any particular route?

Plot your route manually on Runkeeper and it should give you the vertical height gain there is.

I tried it before but couldn't see the height gain.
