They were awful to watch. Must have done some serious damage taking that kind of punishment, it was too much for me.

There's rumours that he's signed on to do XXX3 with Vin Diesel, could just be a tiny one day in and out bit part though.Originally posted by kingfunk View PostDidn't see anything in that fight that would trouble McGregor. McGregors biggest threat now is himself, as long as he doesn't become over confident and doesn't slack off his training he can dominate both 145 and 155.
I will not doubt McGregor again after the Aldo match-up, but Dos Anjos is an interesting one, and certainly a more difficult one that Cowboy would've been. The times they are a changin'.

Impressed by overeem. A boring match, but he handled it the right way.
Not saying he'd have won this time, but he took far too much emotion into the fight imo.
The Grandmother that brought him up is a year into a two year terminal diagnosis, and she's been getting rid of all her 'stuff' while alive rather than afterwards in a will.
So he wanted to take the belt home to her and say..here....more 'stuff' for you.

I disagree, I think McGregor would be far happier fighting Dos Anjos than Cowboy ... Cowboy has these fights every now and then much like Liverpool when he just does not show up ... out of the two Cowboy is a much much bigger man and a far more dangerous rangy striker .... Do Anjos is anothe 5.9 Fighter who McGregor will destroy mentally, will show no respect, will dance around and light him up ... his knock out ability will only become more potent at a heavier weight classOriginally posted by Gibbo View PostThere's rumours that he's signed on to do XXX3 with Vin Diesel, could just be a tiny one day in and out bit part though.

Should be another great match up ... but out of that division Khabib Nurmagomedov stands out as the one fighter who would give McGregor big problems for me .. to beat him you need to rag doll him and beat him up on the ground, in a straight striking game he is on another level to most fighters right nowAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Think McGregor would counter him with ease - his standup looks pretty sloppy to me.Originally posted by Nicey View PostI disagree, I think McGregor would be far happier fighting Dos Anjos than Cowboy ... I also think Cowboy would be more of a challenge because of his ground game. McGregor's stand up is world class, but his ground game isn't.Originally posted by Nicey View PostI disagree, I think McGregor would be far happier fighting Dos Anjos than Cowboy ... For the same reason, i think Khabib would cause him problems if he used his judo and sambo- but in both cases, you have to get him down firstOriginally posted by fah-qDidn't someone once see Philip Schofield ****ting into a crisp packet?

I think Dos Anjos is stronger on the ground than Cowboy is, he was a straight BJJ guy who learned how to strike. I think he'd be more likely to take McGregor down the Cowboy too.Originally posted by meffin View PostI also think Cowboy would be more of a challenge because of his ground game. On the subject of Khabib, I'd agree that he has the ability to be the strongest in the division, but he's made out of chewing gum.The times they are a changin'.

Why would he stand and trade with McGregor ... "he" would ragdoll McGregor ... I am telling you he got his hands on you and Conor would be thinking sweet **** ... and then he would fly through the air this ****er gets on on top of you and its a warm blanket of pain ... he is also tough as nails and could take a very serious punch .. hes Like Chad Mendes on Horse Steroids with Russian Military Training and those cunts do not **** aboutOriginally posted by fidget View PostNicey I've no doubt the man is a beast but if he opted for a straight striking game with McGregor he'd get lit the **** up.
And if McGregor chose the strategy of attempting to ragdoll him and beat him on the ground he'd be pretty daft - which he clearly isn't.Anybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015
