TCU need to get past Utah and the Ducks past the Beavers those are the only obstacles I see for them.

You want us all to turn our backs whilst you tug yourself off there?

Alabama still jumps undefeated mid majors if they run the table. The computers will come back to them if they beat LSU and hand Auburn their only loss, they'll play 13 games which gives them an advantage compensating for the defeat, and the human polls will have the SEC champ at number two (at least) if they are one loss.

There's still football to be played. Oregon have two more road games. Boise and TCU will go unbeaten, but I wouldn't be surprised to see neither of them in the BCS. At the moment the computers have Alabama at 15. When they start climbing the computer rankings, added to the human polls that already have them up to 6 in the BCS anyway, then they'll jump non AQs.

Don't hate appreciate, plus I've got money on my predictions.

Anyway, we've both got our opinions on how we think this will unfold so lets wait and see what happens this weekend, some big games coming up.

You have to admit that I'm on fire.

TCU just beat the number 5 team in the country 47-7 plus Les outcoached Saban and Bama are out!

It's Oregon v TCU for the national championship!

Auburn's fate is still in their own hands, although seeing them win in Tuscaloosa is a stretch. And Boise have four games to play to TCU's two, including Nevada who are ranked. The computers won't like them much, but the human polls will probably favour Boise over TCU come the end. Not sure that'll be enough though. Which, as I've said before, is nonsense. Boise are a much better side than TCU. Still, at least this is the last year this particular non-AQ lottery will occur.

I google-translated the bold part into Japanese and got this:

Well Nevada just knocked off Boise in one of the craziest games I've ever seen!

Oregon have to get past Oregon State in their yearly Civil War game and it will be tough regardless of the Beavers record.

Auburn will have to beat Spurrier and South Carolina. TCU will abuse New Mexico.

The biggest risk of a loss is Auburn since South Carolina can burn the clock by giving Lattimore the ball over 30 times and will move the chains which will of course keep Newton off the field.

The BCS comes out on top again!

                Brotzman ****ed that up. Twice.

Auburn-Oregon would be a great title game. I think I'd refuse to watch TCU vs anyone.

Giving Lattimore the ball didn't help SC in the Jordan-Hare. Auburn totally shut him down and Spurrier gave up the run game. But the Gamecocks couldn't stop Newton or Michael Dyer. Auburn have been decent against the run all year. But their secondary regularly gets shredded in the air. Any team with Alshon Jeffrey isn't going to overlook that. I think they'll use Lattimore to try and keep the pressure off Garcia (something they couldn't do late in the first meeting - and Garcia gives up all sorts of presents when people are in his face or he feels he has to make big plays).

Well it's Auburn v Oregon, can't argue with that. I'd be interested to see who TCU is matched up against though, I hope it's Wisconsin or Stanford.

It's going to be Wisconsin. The Rose Bowl are on rotation to take the non-AQ this year if they want, and there will be more travelling fans from Texas Christian than the Cards so they'll make that match. The Sugar Bowl have first choice of teams after that, so they'll take Arkansas and Ohio State. That leaves two spaces to fill. Who plays VA Tech in the Orange Bowl and who plays Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. If common sense was the criteria than Stanford would play Oklahoma as it's in Glendale, but I think the Orange Bowl has first pick. Neither Stanford or UConn are attractive to bowl organisers, but I suspect they might go with Stanford to have Andrew Luck. UConn have no national exposure at all. Stanford can't even fill their own stadium in Pac-10 games though, so **** knows how many will travel the entire breadth of the country to play VA-Tech.

Interesting to see how TCU fares against Wisconsin. They've been dropping points on teams left and right in the Big Ten. Their run game is awesome, and they can switch it up with Tolzien to Kendricks and Toon. TCU had difficulties with Zach Line in the SMU game, he ran up and down the field against them. Wisconsin have several power backs much better than him. I think this could get a lot messier than people suspect. If the Badgers have watched how Boise dismantled Dalton last year then they should compensate for their suspect secondary by feigning the blitz and dropping back. Dalton rushes himself all the time and is his own worst enemy. He'll go after the Wisconsin secondary and give up turnovers.

I reckon Auburn will smash Oregon too. Their front seven is a wall and LaMichael James won't be going through it. Can't see Oregon beating them in the air, and can't see the Ducks stopping Newton. Hopefully it'll be high scoring as Auburn usually take a bend-not-break philosophy to their defense, but I don't see Oregon handling Auburn like they did their Pac-10 opponents. No way Oregon would have got out of the SEC unbeaten.

Cam Newton best prospect since Tim Tebow perhaps watched the game last saturday and he is just so composed in the pocket, obvious NFL star of the future!

CUM (Coach Urban Meyer) is a friggin drama queen.

Anyway, I don't think you should write off the Ducks so easily, I still believe their defence has major flaws. Farely is a beast but I think the Ducks spread/no-huddle offense can expose Auburn's weak DBs.

I'm really looking forward to Wisconsin v TCU as well. It will either be a Badger blow out or a really close and exciting game and I have no idea which way it will go.
