Laughable that it is a PPV.

As a pairing Smith vs Eubank jr is at best a mid card bout on a proper PPV.

A pity some sort of double low blow KO cannot happen. Two pricks.

Probably go for Smith simply because it pushes the name of the Rotunda.

Eubank is a serious incident waiting to happen if he keeps trying to lose too much weight in the manner he does.

He looked dangerously cut at the weigh in. Don't know if he is lazy in his training and has to cut like this as a result or he has to cut so hard because his natural walking about size now is at least two, maybe three, weights above what he is trying to make.

Either way it is a stupid, dangerous and highly irresponsible thing to be doing. The sort of thing that could cause punch resistence and reflexes to fall off a cliff mid fight.

Way too much of a gamble with one's health for any fight let alone for such a nothing fight in the grand scheme of things. Also puts Smith at risk of being the guy that is on the other side of a life changing injury.

Looking forward to Smith v Eubank Jr tonight.

Think Smith wins again - TKO maybe between 7 and 9.

Dave Allen on the undercard. State of him here at the weigh in

Welcome to PPV boxing outside the UK or without a big British crowd. Worst boxing "fans" going bar none are the British crowds for a PPV involving a British fighter.

Same no nothing coke heads singing the same racist ****, with no clue about the sport. Bit of Sweet Caroline, few dumb chants, maybe start a few fights in the crowd. Waste of space cunts.

    Yeah.

Was in Wroclaw for several days last week. Booked months prior to the fight being announced. When the fight was announced we thought it'd be rude not to go along.

Good mixture of Polish, German and obviously Ukrainian's in the crowd. Not sure how it came across on TV but the atmosphere inside the stadium was electric and very partisan. Not seen the official attendance but I'd say it was somewhere between 25,000 and 30,000.

The undercard was alright however the placement of the fights was all wrong.
My mate Denys Berinchyk should have been 2nd on the bill.
I know Hamed was placed 2nd purely for the British PPV audience but the fight killed the momentum that had been building inside the stadium for the previous couple of hours. Absolute ****-show shambles to have Hamed there.

As expected Usyk received a fantastic reception.

The crowd were by in large respectful of DDD and majority stood when the British national anthem was played.

Regarding the fight itself. Usyk was in control in the early rounds.
Now for the 'low blow'. General perception from inside the stadium was that it was a low blow, this has since been confirmed by several different angels of the punch, and that there wasn't any controversy. It was only really when we got back to the hotel last night and started to have a look at the various fight reports that you got an incline of the 'controversy'

For what it's worth i think a rematch would be pointless. Usyk was well in charge control of the fight and any rematch would go exactly the same way.

From a personal perspective it was fantastic to see a boxer like Usyk in the flesh.

Weather in Wroclaw last week was absolutly glorious. 34 degrees and up. About an hour before the fight started the heavens opened. Those in the ring side and floor seats got drenched. The cheap seats were perfectly dry

    Same as the Joshua fight.
Usyk gets to ref his own fights now.

I think he'd have carried on had the ref ruled it a knockdown but it stank.
Later on Dubois got warned because Usyk told the ref he'd been hit low despite the ref not seeing it.

Dubois understandably feeling hard done by imo. It was close but that decision stank.

Knocked out with the jab. It's a beauty.

Rewatching, I think the shot should have been legal, just about. I'm unsure if it would have KOd him if the ref ruled a knockdown immediately. Uysk was struggling but he may have slowed it down and the same thing could have happened.

Four minutes might not be enough to recover from a killer body shot.

I understand why Dubois has grounds for a rematch but I'm unsure if I want to see one. It is fair to Dubois though. Usyk's English is hilarious.

Round 7 very good. Usyk trying to get Dubois out of there. Regardless of what happens the media outcry of the "low" or not shot is predictably coming.

Had zero interest in watching it last night and by all accounts it was what most expected.

Funny how these guys who get caught for taking something always have the excuse of "Oh I did not know I was taking it" and then gets caught again and again whilst constantly peddling the same excuses.

Checking what you are taking is basic procedure.

If his recent fights were potentially him on PEDs, I would hate to see how bad he is without them now.
