The thing that is worrying for Khan about that KO is that it had nothing to do with size or power. People will chalk it up to that, but a similar thing could happen if he gets himself into a tangle like that against smaller punches. His hands were nowhere and his body was in a weird position overall. Any pro, even feather fisted ones will drop you if they land on your chin. Accuracy is a lot more important than power.
We all know he'll fight on but I'm not sure how good of performances he still has in him. Since that weird Paul McCloskey fight, he's been pretty indifferent. We all thought he would get better with time, but in reality he probably peaked in his early career. He doesn't look great against decent opponents and can't outbox them, or stop them convincingly. And falls short against elite fighters as seen today and against Danny Garcia.
Khan did start very well, and Canelo looked like he didn't really have a clear vision. In the 4th round he brought his jab into the game and his counterpunching improved a lot too. The punch was a peach too. He needs to either fight Golovkin at 160 or drop to 154 and stop campaigning as a middleweight. This 155 catchweight bs is ridiculous. Not sure how you can be a linear middleweight champ when you've never been in the ring with anyone on the middleweight limit.

Spent over 2 hours trying to find a reliable Box Nation stream on Kodi, spamming my system with all sorts of **** addons. Had to settle for an extremely pixelated but just about stable stream. Content enough watching the fight, but then one of the bloody dogs starts barking and I turn away for a second, only to turn back round and see Kahn out cold.
I should have just logged on here and watched Jaco's youtube clip.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Enjoyed reading all of your post, but the bit above is just so on the money.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

In fairness that shot would've give anyone trouble, especially someone with a weak chin.Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostKhan has a Proper glass chin. To think he was talking about Mayweather not so long ago.
I had that fight just about even when Amir got later out, first two rounds he was excellent, GGG will whoop Canelo. The times they are a changin'.

Amir Khan will box on after his devastating defeat by Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and says a rematch against Danny Garcia is top of his wish list.
The Briton, 29, was knocked out in the sixth round when fighting for Alvarez's WBC middleweight crown in Las Vegas.
Khan, who jumped two weight divisions to fight Alvarez on Saturday, is the mandatory challenger for Garcia's WBC welterweight belt.
"It is the easiest fight to make and it's at my natural weight," said Khan.
"It would be nice to make that fight in the UK but I don't think he'd come. But we have the same advisor in Al Haymon so we'll chat and take it from there.
"I'm in the peak of my career, my stock has definitely risen and I still have a lot left in me. I didn't really take a lot of punishment, just that one big punch."
