You really don't get quite how big the Tour de France is, do you? Plus Wiggins has won more Olympic medals than any British athlete in any sport.
I think Brailsford has done a lot more for British sport than any football manager. And if Trevor Brooking has one...
I think the actual honours themselves (Sir this and Dame that) are so nostalgic it's cringeworthy but honouring people for their achievements is worthwhile. I wouldn't have so many business types though, most of them are ****ze..
