I agree about Dalglish, more for what he did around Hillsborough than anything else. But I hope the Hillsborough campaigners will get their rewards for that, they're the ones who truly deserve it.

The real value of the honours is shown by the fact Hector Sants has been knighted. That's the man who was head of the FSA before, during and after the financial crisis, the FSA which was criticised by MPs as being "asleep at the wheel" throughout.
It degrades everything.
