Yeah I used to hate back- all those pull-ups. It's still not my favourite but I get by. I've got better at pull-ups & chins which is good cos I've also got a fair bit heavier over the years!
Don't mind triceps too much, but biceps bore me. I don't have a separate arms day- they get chucked in on the end of chest (tris) or shoulders (bis).3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I tend to do pull-ups in 5 sets of 8-10. If you have a power station thing, practice them with counter-weight assistance. If not, jump up and try control how quickly you let yourself down. Obviously if you train with someone you can both assist each other. Pull-ups are one of the most important exercises IMO- along with squats, deads, shoulder presses and bench presses (& maybe cleans & bent-over rows).
I don't use supps really cos protein shakes turn me into a bloated whoopee cushion- just tend to eat a lot! Hmm I don't do all that much cardio tbh cos I find it dull. I'm happy running about etc when there's a reason for it (formerly martial arts & footy usually), but I find cardio for the sake of it dull as ****. Used to go running with the ex but now it ain't got the car I have to walk everywhere & carry everything anyways so that kinda keeps the fat off. Keep meaning to reintroduce rowing or swimming but need to kick this cold first.3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Just done a 10K in Ilmington - strong wind and rain and very hilly. My fastest 1k was 4.06 (downhill bit) and my slowest 8.10 (uphill bit). They even give you a pack of sausages at the finishing line.
Endomondo tracked my run at 10.27km
Norbs: 17.82 miles
Pablo: 17.81 miles
Rich: 11.6 miles
RoadEnd: 6.4 miles
Dan: 4.9 miles
Alex: 4.81 miles
Lee: 2.9 Miles
Slinky Skills: 2.38 miles

Just about. You get a croissant and coffee then a load of chat. They make 3 cocktails which you get to try and then you make your own behind the bar out of a choice of 6 or so. Then lunch which was OK. For £60 it was a touch overpriced IMO. But the cocktails are normally £15-£20 each off the menu...Originally posted by rcasemore View PostStrangely I looked to book one of these this morning, worth doing ?
Bloke running it loved himself a bit much, he's called Stanislav
