Anyone on here do F45 ?
Been going to 6 sessions a week for 6 weeks now, really enjoying it and it seems to have quite dramatic effects..at least on me so far.
Starting the 8 week challenge this month...think the hardest part will be sticking to the diet, the stuff they want you to eat costs a bomb over here (Malaysia)
If you don’t know what F45 is, basically it’s a HIIT circuit programme started in oz. each session is 45 minutes long...all the stations are ready for you when you get there so it’s non stop..it’s more like p.e at school than fancy equipment, all medicine balls, boxes, ropes, free weights etc.

Back up to 8k+ twice a, week now with no knee problems so I'm close to being convinced that it was the Adidas Boosts that did the damage. Commiserations to those injured atm - it really can get you down.

Been having physio but the general consensus seems to be I have inflamed the Meniscus and or Hoffas Pad and or the Medial LigamentOriginally posted by labourRed View PostOh brother that's ****. I used to get mildly depressed if injured but as life has progressed there's a lot more distractions so it's not quite the hit it once was. Get some physio and get back on it asap.
It appears these inflammation injuries are quite difficult to resolve quickly

Did the (SMH) Sydney half marathon a couple of weeks ago. Signed up for City2Surf and the Blackmores Sydney Half Marathon (waiting list for the Coastal Classic). I'm not a 'natural' runner and can't say I really enjoy it, but signing up for events gives me the motivation to stay fit(ish). Also, as Nicey said, finishing a half marathon is really rewarding.

At least the weather is on the bounce for a stretch of running.
Really frustrating

CL run has set me back.Originally posted by Norbs View PostHave we all turned to dough? I certainly have as I've not ran since September. Thinking of going couch to 5k but arthritis in my toes, creaky knees and heel pain that won't go away is going to make it difficult
Less than 3 weeks until holiday and got 1.25 stone to drop.

I ran my first half marathon this year, pulled my calf badly 3 weeks before the race and could not train at all, but decided to give it a go, hobbled over the line just under the cut off, eveything thing was going fine till my good leg went about 2 thirds in and then i hit the dreaded wall, somehow I managed to keep going. Most rewarding thing I have ever done, running my first full marathon later this year, but like a lot of you have not ran for months and feeling like a giant marsh mellow

I'm walking 6-7k's Tuesdays and Thursdays (my non gym days) and 12-15ks alternate Sundays (weekends I don't have my son) and the weights just dropping off.
Doubt I'll manage it today though, depends if I nap and wake up sober

So pathetically erratic with running to the last year or so. Last 10k I ran was 7 weeks ago. The nothing. Did just under 7k on Wednesday gone. Promising myself I'll run tomorrow.

Power walking us a great way to burn calories. As intense as running but far easier on the joints.

I've got a Watt bike and rowing machine at home though, just need to create a space to use them in

I've never really got on with bikes mate. We're very hilly here and I'm not the most observant. I'd almost certainly kill myself within weeksOriginally posted by Slinky Skills View PostHave you got a bike mate? If so get on that, less pressure on your joints than running.
