I order chicken breasts from MuscleFood, some other meats sometimes too but this time they sent me 2 free samples. They sell some choc coconut protein snack bar thing that is the absolute tits

Absolutely loaded with sugar and carbs no doubt, but tasty

    These things: http://www.musclefood.com/high-prote...otein-bar.html

Actually, 4G carbs is nothing. Even less if you subtract polyols

Agree 100%! I've done the mens health 10k in london for the last three years - its always been **** but the beers afterwards are always a laugh! It's now got so expensive, something like £70 for a 10k! Thats insane!!!!

Rat Race do like to rip their runners off but they do a good trail series with runners world - i'm doing the bedgberry half marathon in June that was about £32 which isn't terrible.

Don't waste your money on a tough mudder! They're expensive and not that bad to complete considering the hype around them! IMO obviously

Have done the Bristol 10k quite a few times but never really trained properly since my first effort when I went round in 49 minutes dead. I'm hoping to beat that this year even though I'm 7 years older and (currently) considerably fatter!

After that its the Bristol half which I did in 2013 and just got round in 2 hours. The week off that I 'awarded' myself with afterward turned into 6 months though and that;s always been my biggest problem - I'm good at training for events but once they're gone I lose motivation. This year will be different though :-)

After that, maybe a triathlon or a tough mudder - who knows?
    Good stuff, keep it up!

What i tend to do is book a load of events at the start of the year and train well for the first one then don't train in between and wonder why my times get worse as the year goes on! Need to keep ticking over. I've only got 2 main races this year and a few smaller ones sprinkled along the way so who knows!

They look cool, nice colours! Have never run with with NB but hear a lot of good things, they don't look to heavy for a stable shoe either so thats a plus! Read a few reviews and see what the general consensus is

At the moment I'm building up a steady 7-10 mile a week level (plus footie and cycling to/from work every day) but the 16 week 10k plan starts ina couple of weeks so the distance will ramp up.

At this time of year, it's all road running, with the odd park trip if the grounds dry.

    I'm liking these from Wiggle:

Logged on to maxiraw tonight for a nosey. no intention of buying anything, just to see what they had. Forgot I'd build up £15 credit with buying stuff previously

Bought myself some high protein bars and used the £15 worth of "reward points" to knock the price to less than a £10, for a box of bars plus postage

    Well pleased
