Only 3.7km tonight, but I did intervals. **** ME!
On a positive note, I checked the distance against the same time as when I started, and I can now cart my fat arse around the same distance 10 MINUTES quicker than when I started. I remember being so out of puff on my first time. Fitness is a wonderful thing.
Onwards to my 5k in 25min goal

Very good mate. Mine's a little high- 23.6%. 5'7", 14st 4-7, depending on the day. Not toooo bad seen I work at a desk, don't really diet and don't really do cardio I spose but I'd like it to be sub-20%. Find cardio so dull when it dont involve fighting/ chasing a ball/ whatever.3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Cross country at Wreckenton. Course was nice and soft and got round the 5.7 miles in 39:19. Not great but I'll take it. And my club won out division too so championeeeeees
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

14.2 mine was last year. I dread to think what it is now. Dieting was going well before this weekend too.Originally posted by Subby View PostGot my body fat down from 27 to 22% so cut going well.
Ahh well, **** it, who cares what size I am when we lift the title.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

10.1km thia afternoon. Need to fit runs in midweek as that's letting me down at the moment.
Oh and I shifted Scaramanga up the table before Pablo had an OCD meltdown.

Only 3.8km this morning, but I was doing it to focus on speed. Did ok, but should have taken my Inhaler, as my Asthma kicked in with about 1/4 of the run to go so I had to slow right down.
Its due to the changing weather I think as I tend not to suffer too much usually. Lesson learnt.*Except Michael, who died.

They obviously work, but my body was not used to the intense pace. But I found them weirdly enjoyable though.*Except Michael, who died.
