    Alex: 20.6km

Running again has made me remember why I enjoyed it so much the first few times round. My stated goal of a sub 25m 5K time is something I really want to achieve. Does not seem easy from my current fitness levels .

Saveloy. Is my fat arse getting out running inspiring you even more

Yes it is. It's making me think I should try to focus on running a bit faster and building up my distance, rather than plodding through the kilometres.

Good work Alex What sort of 5K times are you getting at the moment, are you far off 25m?

Miles off mate. Id be around 35m if I was even managing 5k.

Couch to 5k takes about 5 weeks to get to that distance. So its a few weeks off yet.

You guys probably have a better idea of what it takes to do what he did.

                Something to aim at ?

No ****ing chance. He must have aged 10 years doing those 27 marathons.

I can't begin to imagine what he put himself through. Man deserves a knighthood surely

Are these numbers cumulative? I thought you were pumping these distances daily!

I'm going to give P90X3 another try as it sits well with my schedule and goals.

Cumulative mate. Going from a real low level of fitness here.

Big day here. Running in the Cardiff World Half. First proper event at the distance.
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.
