My first post on the matter said I find many of the jokes in here distasteful to say the least, so don't suggest I "don't mind hearing them". The racist one was the first one in ages that was reported to the mods though. Just because someone has a choice whether they read something that is wrong, doesn't make the thing that is written any less wrong.

i have to agree with Elvoz, whats the difference between a coloured person getting offended by a rascist joke and say a cancer suffferer being offended by 'jokes' relating to cancer?

There are far worse 'jokes' in this thread for sure and surely if its poor/bad taste jokes, why have boundaries?

Cancer is a disease and most of us have sadly had some experience of it in our lives but I don't believe anyone's ever been persecuted, murdered or enslaved by another human being because they have it. Making a joke out of it can be viewed as being in bad taste but the thread title alerts people to the chance of that.

Racism is discrimination or prejudice against someone because of what they look like or where they were born so rather than just being in poor taste racist jokes only serve to make racism seem less disgusting than it is and the mods have rightly binned it.

You may have a point about some of the jokes in here being a bit much but it's a twisted logic that makes racist jokes acceptable because of it.

I'd have to agree with Evoz as well, this thread has an 18's tag and is titled bad taste jokes so anything goes, if you get offended by them then read the rest of the jokes section and stay out of this thread...just my 2 cents worth
