      Man Utd close in on striker Tevez


      West Ham striker Carlos Tevez is set to join Manchester United, according to BBC Radio Five Live Sport.
      It is understood talks are underway and a deal could be completed as soon as the weekend.

            Bugger, we move one step closer and they take two steps forward.

            Will this put more pressure on G&H to add more to the budget?

                It's been menacing all summer guys, some of you chose to believe that it's been a ploy and a conspiracy by Bascombe that we don't have money etc ... As much as we may have money to bring players such as Torres, United and Chelsea can outdo us very quickly. That's the harsh reality.

                Now, there's still 2 months to go still.

                            Fergiscum sent his men out to South America with an objective to get him signed up within 48 hours. He knows how to deal.

                            Its annoying as I thought Manu's squad last season wasn't that good and that with one or two additions we could catch them up. Now they've added some depth to that squad.

                            As said though, a decent winger and it'll make all the difference.

                              Having had time to cool down I wonder how much the Scum really improve by this signing. Maybe 5%? Hopefully we´ll improve by 15-20% only by signing Torres and a winger, I think it matters more to us, maybe we can even improve more. They had a bloody good team and can only improve so much really, Hargreaves will be the main difference for them though IMO and he could improve them more although points wise they are not getting much more.
