So according to Tancredi Palmeri we're getting no loan fee, and paying the best part of a million pounds towards his wages. This is a ****ing stupid deal, quite frankly.

Do you guys really believe that Reina wouldn't have signed for another club? Nonsense in my opinion - I'm sure that Reina himself said that he wouldn't be prepared to sit on the bench this season. That goes double with the world cup next summer. And as others have mentioned, he was open to a move to Arsenal a few years ago - and that's when we were good! There would have been clubs interested, and he would have moved imo. And we'd have time on our side to test that theory.

Even if we'd sold him at a knock down price that would have been better than this bollocks. Say 6 million, and the total saving of his wages. Right now, we're PAYING for our keeper to be at Napoli. He also happens to be one of our more saleable players at a time where we could really do with as much of a transfer budget as we can get.

And to make matters worse: every single player we want rid of, clubs will try it on with loan deals... Feyenoord are having a go now with Assaidi. And what's the bet we end up doing it.
