That was such a blatant pisstake last night. The pictures of Jose whispering to Dudek, Dudek whispering to Casillas and then Casillas passing the msg to Ramos make it all so blatantly obvious. Xabi and Ramos both looked ashamed walking off

How are rules not being broken, are you allowed to purposely get sent off in a nothing game to rid yourself of cards issued for wrong doing, so you're free to do wrong again with a clean slate in the upcoming important games in the comp. ?Originally posted by Craig_H View PostIt's part and parcel nowadays. I would love to adopt a high and mighty attitude, but every ****er's at it and if you dont, you get left behind.
It's gamesmanship, but the rules arent being broken and it's upto Uefa to stop having rules that are so easily exploitable.Last edited by Vermilion; 24-11-10, 06:13 PM.

Well yes, you are.
The rule is, if you commit a sending off offence (or two bookables), you go.
And they're doing that - and going.
People complain about the rules being broken and players getting away with it - well here, they are not getting away with it - they're being sent off.
What do you WANT to happen?

"Rubbish" - great point. I see the error of my ways now you've said that
It's wrong on Uefa's part, they should adjust the rules to stop people doing this. But while it's within the rules, Madrid arent really doing anything beyond the legalities of the game. Change the rules so it cant be done, and there's nothing to argue about.

And you repeating that fifa should do this or that does'nt change the fact players 'deliberately' getting themselves sent off to get away with cards they've accumulated is wrong, and unfair on the teams they'll play in the next round.
That is all.

It's cheating, if it was'nt...Maureen and anyone else could just admit it, they don't..because they know it's illegal to deliberately get yourself sent off to get away with accumulated yellow cards.
I know the angle your coming from, obviously, but that does'nt make it right or legal...if it did...as i say there would be no problem in just admitting they did it, the only problem is with proving they did it, but it's still a ****ty way to go about football, and if all managers acted like that, and instill such values into players...football will go down hill fast. imo.Last edited by Vermilion; 24-11-10, 06:50 PM.

Ok, so if a player deliberately fouls a striker through on goal (knowing he's gonna get a red card) is this cheating too? Or is it a part of the functionality of a football match?
I dont see where it says that players arent free to commit fouls deliberately, knowing that punishment is coming their way. It's the same thing.

Smart move by Mourinho as per usual. Gotta love him
Hmm did we not do this this before with Dirk Kuyt (yellow on purpose) against PSV under Rafa?Last edited by danperkins; 24-11-10, 06:56 PM.
