Enjoy.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Against Stoke, he made up 3 yards on Pennant in seconds. When Pennant changed sides, Johnson was just about able to keep up with him in an even race and Johnson is pretty fast.
If he was skinned ny 'pacey wingers' then it would have been because of his starting position, not his pace. What wingers are you talking about BTW and what matches?
maybe it's because he's quite leggy, people thing them big legs can't move in a rapid fashion but they can.
He has plenty of pace.

Will you get off your Rafa high horse? Can you not see the stupidity of saying lets not talk about about Rafa out of th blue? Going back to your ealier point, Rafa was sack by the same people who brought in Bodgeson! Doesn't say a lot does it?Originally posted by Glenn Hysen View PostI'm happy as long as this thread does not end up discussing Rafa....
Now look what you've done! This city has two great football teams – Liverpool and Liverpool reserves

I should be asking you that same question. If other people noticed it too it may be because that is the case, no?Originally posted by RedReet View Post

Go watch Wigan and Everton game especially if you need more evidence on who skinned him.
I didn't say he is not fast (even though as you concluded yourself being fast in our team doesn't mean much) what I said was that he lacks burts of pace = stop and go.
Big difference..Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Yes, that's how it works.
I watched the Wigan and Everton games, Drago gave you 3 specific examples proving that he was fast, even Reece with Cole. (If they noticed it too it may be because that is the case, no?)
And the examples that were given were all perfect examples of bursts of pace, not just running fast.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

It's true. Reece is faster than Cole.
His smooth head experiences less drag through the air..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

**** it if Drago says he is fast, which to you is the same as stop-and-go, than he must be

That wasn't Drago's opinion, Drago was highlighting what happened during the match, it's there for all to see. You are the one bizarrely claiming that if someone else (who you don't even know) said it then it must be true. You also told me to watch two matches which surprisingly I already have for some reason, but not explained why.Originally posted by Mostar View Post

Am I going to get any logic in any of your replies, or are you just gonna keep adding more smilies every time in the hope that maybe I can get more sense from one of them?If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

It's becoming painfully difficult to agree to disagree.Originally posted by RedReet View PostThat wasn't Drago's opinion, Drago was highlighting what happened during the match, it's there for all to see. If you read any of my comments carefully than you would see that I have never stated that Kelly is slow, which you patronizing claiming that I did, but what I said was that he lacks bursts of pace. Imo he doesn't have good inital accelaration (stop-and-go speed) and few times that almost cost us.
You didn't agree and I suggested watching couple of games that to me clearly supported my observation and my view point and I felt that is sufficient.
When it comes to adding smilies it was you who started the trend and I only reciprocated the kindness.Last edited by Mostar; 09-02-11, 06:16 PM.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Eh, no I didn't. I fully understood what you meant and strongly disagreed, I never once mentioned slow. I may have changed 'burst of pace' for fast, but it was just a different way of expressing it.Originally posted by Mostar View PostIt's becoming painfully difficult to agree to disagree.

You accuse me of patronising you (for something I actually didn't say), but if you meant my general tone, well what do you expect when the first line of your reply was along the lines of 'well if someone else said it it must be true'.?**
I don't think we can agree to disagree, but rather than me waste 180 minutes of my life watching 2 matches that I have already seen looking out for something I don't think exists, let's just put this discussion on hold until the Wigan game.
As for the smilies, yes I did start it, but you went over the top by using two in the same post. (joke)

Actually it was your first response with rash smilie and line "That is a couple of people on this site I've heard say that, what are you watching?" that was condescending.Originally posted by RedReet View PostEh, no I didn't. I merely pointed that perhaps "Where there's smoke, there's fire" if other people thought the same in your own words.
Nevertheless this is turning into pointless and meaningless discussion and it is better to pick up on it at some other time.
After all this is Carroll's thread.Last edited by Mostar; 09-02-11, 07:20 PM.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club
