I think at this stage he is a developing player who needs a team to play in a consistent style in order to get up to speed. At the minute we change tactics, formation, personnel and performance level on an almost game by game basis.

Fourteen ****ing games.Originally posted by vlahka View PostEvery manager makes mistakes. Kennys made some in the past. Using this trust rule that basically means every single player bought should be allowed to play for a full season no matter how bad they are, because we trust the manager, which includes throwing in your El Zar's, your Degen's, your Diao's. This is what usually would happen if we didnt decide this or that player wasnt good enough. We'd be cheering those sorts of players on for the entire season straight to mid table. You can usually tell how a player is after his first dozen or so matches. Carroll wont be improving much.

He was here before (Jan 2005-Summer 2006) didn't this place open in summer 2006?Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostWas Morientes at the club when this forum was going or was it before? The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

If you're going to throw percentages around, then at least check if you're even in the right ballpark.
Aerial duels
Tottenham game - 7 won, 5 lost
Stoke game - 1 won 0 lost
Bolton game - 0 won 1 lost
Arsenal game - 12 won 10 lost
Sunderland game 9 won 0 lost
The only game even below 50% was the Bolton game when he was only on for the tail end and was only involved in one aerial duel.
