Heskey's overall #LFC stats were 60 goals in 233 games across 4 & 1/2 seasons. Carroll's stats currently stand at 3 goals in 15 outings.
    @Richard__Buxton
Heskey found the net in 3 of 12 games for #LFC by end of 1999/2000 season. Carroll's stats for the club at end of 2010/11 were 2 in 9 games

Whether I'm at a game or watching the match on tv, I wish the best for every player on the field. I want them to do well. So bloody badly. I just dont see my cheering improving his performances for us. He will just be frustrating to watch.

It does if you're at a game.

I'd like to believe that. I havent seen any change in skill level with plenty of players no matter how loud the crowd cheer or even when they get frustrated and start to shout angrily at them to go forward instead of backwards. I guess you could take into consideration that the anfield crowd are also like a bunch of crickets majority of the time. Except they dont even bother to make crick noises. If only every game we could sound half as impressive as the UTD supporters who scream non stop every game. So frustrating.

So you really think it makes no difference if fans at a game support the team or not? Really?

            O......k.

And the 'If only every game we could sound half as impressive as the UTD supporters who scream non stop every game' comment makes you sound like a WUM. Have you BEEN to Old Trafford and seen how plastic their fans are? I seriously had to check your post for white text.

If you want to talk about fans who sing regardless of how things are going, take a look at stoppage time at WHL on Sunday. It wasnt the home fans singing YNWA & applauding their team off despite being dicked and embarrassed.

Right...so now I can see you doing your usual thing when debating. Thats twisting words around and pulling out the 'You are a WUM and a fake fan' routine. Read what I said properly and comment on what I said, otherwise dont waste my time.

really? well a few hundred japanese ones might since they do nothing else but get excited, oh look there's a car 'click, a steward 'click', a bird 'click', a football 'click' etc etc

the noise they make could be down to the fact they keep winning, the place is like a morgue when they struggle.

Yes, I'm not mentioning the types of fans. Just that they always seem to be extremely loud during home matches. Where we are exceedingly quiet.

I'm not twisting anything mate, i found your 'wish' that we could be like the manc fans, to be a bit bizarre. They're ****ing ****e. They have a decent away following to be fair, but so do we FFS.

I'm staggered that a Liverpool supporter would want us to be like manc fans.

but they're loud because the team has won 18 on the trot plus they have 30,000 more people in the ground. Conversely when chelsea won the title the other year, they had the same full house but it was dead. They sing only when they're winning or playing the likes of us or chelsea. they're put in their place as soon as they're drawn at home in the cup, the away support is then always more vocal.

I'm genuinely and sincerely staggered that anyone really thinks the mancs home crowds are good. Let alone wishes to be LIKE them

Plastic bunch of cunts, proper 'sing when you're winning' types. I'd sooner give up on football than be like them.

They normally make a noise away from home but OT is laughable.

No doubt. Although we at least make a proper racket for the big games, they're quiet nearly all the time. Chelsea on Sunday was a joke.

Again, twitsing my words. I said I wish we could make as much noise as them every single game. They were 1 example of a loud home support. There are plenty of other teams that do it. Liverpools home crowd, majority of games, are considered to be asleep. We seem to only wake up for big games or european games.
