I doubt that he will leave. The only chance we have to get rid of him is to pay him off.

His career at the top is over and he know that so he want his money.
Poulsen is 31 and its clear to see his career is over at the top and he has played for some decent clubs over the last few years. Hodgson gave him an opportunity for 1 last big pay day before hanging up his boots, cant balme him for taking it and you cant really blame him for wanting to milk his last few years of being a pro either.

Its clear to see that age has caught up with him, so he has a choice of giong for let loss money to a crap club or milking us for a few seasons, know what i would do

Well, if I had £10m+ in my bank account and Poulsen probably have that kind of money, then I wouldn't care that much about money. I would want to play and win trophies.

Being a Liverpool fan it would be very difficult to leave the club but I would still do it if the club showed that they don't want me.

Arn do the Maths, unless he has had a string of amazing business deals ( i dont know) I dont even think he will have earned 10m from football never mind have that in the bank.

I imagine he has more than a lot could ever hope for and plenty to retire with, but still needs to think about the future.

You really do post an unnatural amount of absolute nonsense Arn

Yeah well, not everyone's the same. And maybe if you were a professional footballer you'd feel differently too.
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

No offence mate, but that's nonsense.

It would be UNnatural if he started posting logic

It's not his first language mate, might be an idea to cut him some slack. Considering it's a foreign language to him, his english is actually excellent.

It's his weird random opinions that make you scratch your head

QUOTE=Cormack74;2026796]As I've said before and someone else has alluded to subsequently.

I'd have a bit more ****ing respect for The Bodge if he showed an interest in re-signing the dead wood that he signed for us.

If he had the courage of conviction in his thirty something years in management you'd think he'd have the belief in his own abilities to get whatever latent talent he felt existed in Poulsen and the like prior to getting them in to Liverpool in the first place.

By leaving them here he's clearly showing what a cowardly c*nt he truly is as well as being a wank manager.[/QUOTE]

Couldn't agree more mate, that useless fooker(the bodge) should be banned from managing any other club in whatever league(except manu)

It's not great marking but I've seen alot worse, for example who was supposed to be marking their number 5 in that clip?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                          Poulsen ready to fight

Christian Poulsen has dismissed speculation that he will leave Liverpool and insists he sees his future at the club.

Kenny Dalglish has increased his midfield options with the signing of Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson this summer.

These new recruits will augment a squad already bulging with midfielders in Lucas, Steven Gerrard and Jay Spearing.

Indeed, Dalglish's transfer business has prompted talk that the Denmark international would be sacrificed to balance the books.

But the 30-year-old, who has two years left on his contract, is in no hurry to leave Anfield.

"I have been really happy and I want to play, that's my goal for the future," Poulsen said.

"I am happy there with my family, it's a good club and they treat me really well. I hope I can change my situation and play more.

"I haven't heard anything from Liverpool; I am trying to be fit for the new season. So I think they want me at the club and I am happy to be there and unless they tell me something different, I am a Liverpool player for the coming season."
