I'm wondering whether Eto'o is very close to the 'past his best' period.

He probably is but his workrate and positioning still looks good when I have seen him. I think he would be great as part of a partnership (or trio) up front but probably wouldn't cut it as a lone frontman anymore.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostI'm wondering whether Eto'o is very close to the 'past his best' period."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

I think it's 50:50 whether he stays or goes, if he stays he'll play for them.Originally posted by Bender View Postanyone think tevez will play for city this season ?The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Tevez once again proving he's up there with the biggest cunts in football. Would really love to see City make an example of him.
His claims that he's always been professional are a complete joke. He's been here for ****ing years now and barely speaks a word of English. Takes the piss out of the city that pays his wages on national tv. Refuses to play despite being on £250 grand a week... What constitutes being unprofessional in Tevez-land? Raping Mancini's dog?
Can't stand the bloke. Thank god we never signed him, when it was rumoured we were after him.K ris90210

it's hard to say this, but he was they player that i'd take him in heart beat, when all the saga between him and the Scum began. but now... i mean what the ****..
and for manc ****y, as someone mentioned in other thread, as much i don't like them, it would be really nice to see that administration or club somehow find the way to absolutely **** him.

Thing is they can afford to **** him over... They can do whatever they want...
If we did buy him back in the day and he was trying this **** on with us, you know we would have no option but to accept an £8m bid from South America and we would have had to lump it.
It's player power alright, unless you're owned by a Sheik.Hello mert.
