Nah, I think its out of all players Just googled it. Taylor and Cabaye at Newcastle and Ashley Cole are ahead of him. (Its from the ****e rag though - so no link).

This stat was available before the Fulham game :

Adam also has the highest average distance covered per game at Liverpool with 6.81 miles, ahead of Leiva Lucas with 6.78 miles.

That's about 4.5 miles an hour. Barely above a brisk walk.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                  Thoughts since August?

I feel for the guy, he is not what should be in the centre of midfield for us. He is decent backup. Recently he has been woeful. But I put that down to him overreaching in his first few months. All catching up with him now.

I want him to be better, but I fear his early season form was his best.

He can't play in a midfield two and neither can Gerrard.

That should be alarm bells for me. The basic central midfield in this county has always been 2 with 2 wider players. 4-4-2 is basic stuff. Gerrard shouldn't be playing Central midfield anyway. Id always put him as part of a forward paring. Him and Suarez up front is what I think will be the partnership to save our season (I have to cling to something)

I don't think Suarez and Gerrard would work very well. Suarez isn't a natural number 9, he needs to play off of someone. It's a problem to try and fit Gerrard, Adam and Suarez in a team where they play their best positions. I've mentioned before that I think the way to go is three at the back with Carroll/Bellamy and Suarez up front and a midfield three. We don't have any "undroppable" wide men anyway.

                        Something like this.

                        Reina
                        Skrtel CB Agger
                        Johnson Gerrard DM Adam Enrique
                        Suarez Carroll

Thats similar too what I prefer. But we have the problem that 2 of that team are not really good enough. I would have put in Carragher too.

It depresses me looking at that team and seeing all the mediocre names and players. Our spine is great with Reina, Agger, Lucas, Gerrard and Suarez. But everyone around it is pretty average. Even Enrique has his problems in the final 3rd. Maybe I am being harsh on the full backs though, as they have been our 2 most consistent all season really.

                            Needs to be dropped.
Started well but has faded badly in the past 5 or so games, looks lazy, gives away silly fouls because he doesn't want to work back and seems incapable of just passing the ball easy for 15 minutes before trying his crossfield pass.

Also it must be 5 or 6 times minimum this season that we have a 3v1, 3v2, 3v3 on the edge of their box and he always, every single time either shoots or tries to take his man on instead of passing to a better placed team mate.
Adam isn't a good enough player to be greedy and not pass when someone is better placed.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

He has a lot in common with Paul Scholes

                              Tackling ability
                              ginger facial hair

                              Thats it.
