He'll put personal gain, before showing any dignity.

Very good example of this today. Chris Huhne has resigned after being charged with preverting the course of justice. He's not been found guilty of anything, just charged. That is the normal behaviour of those in public roles. Terry should have done the same.Originally posted by dom9 View Post
No matter what your views, everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
Then again in high profile cases, people have tended to resign when found in similar positions. Take the World Bank guy accused of raping a hotel maid, Dominique Straus-Kahn. He resigned immediately, and charges have been subsequently dropped in his case.
If the Chancellor was accused of a crime, I'm sure 100% he would resign before it went to court. It is too much of side-show / distraction otherwise.
IMO, it should be up to Terry to do the honourable thing, rather than put the FA in that position.Oh I don't know.

Chris Huhne got a £17k severance package and no doubt will keep a ****ing stonking pension regardless of outcome. Let's not be painting that cunt as some sort of patron of virtue here.Originally posted by dom9 View PostVery good example of this today. & with his debts, he needs that cash cow (Euros)Originally posted by rcasemore View PostBig JT will play if he's allowed to, there are far too many money making opportunities for him in the run up to the tournament which in all likelyhood are going to disappear pretty quickly if/once he's found guilty of racism.

He's a public figure, often ridiculed who has realised that the circus around his charges will impinge on his ability to effecively do his job. Ultimately he was probably forced to resign. Terry is too much of a numbskull to follow such instructions and so was sacked.Oh I don't know.
