He said he apologised if that's what Ferdinand heard, and that he would never say 'black c**t', and wanted to make sure things were 'awight' between them.Originally posted by Boogar View PostThen why did he apologise to him in the tunnel?

It would be plausible, he wouldn't have come up with the alternate story if it wasn't plausible. No use saying he called him a Honky tonk woman, has to be something that looks like what he actually said..Originally posted by McDermotX View PostHe said he apologised if that's what Ferdinand heard, and that he would never say 'black c**t', and wanted to make sure things were 'awight' between them.

Lots of pressure on the FA, seems like a stand off between the two parties. The FA would imo prefer for Terry to stand down whilst Terry wants the FA to force him out. It's clear Terry can not continue as captain, he should do the honourable thing and stand down. Cappello should have never reinstated him as captain, what a ****ing shambles.Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

The FA are probably hoping he gets injured near the end of the season and is ruled out for the Euros so they don't have to make a decision
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

No one would believe that he was dropped because of poor form through as the England team isn't picked on merit anywayOriginally posted by elrichio86 View PostEither that, or the weight of the court case hanging over him causes his form to drop and Capello can drop him on footballing reasons.
Would be quite funny if he was replaced by Anton Ferdinand.

agreed, but the court will have to rely on evidence (as opposed to a certain other case), but I'll admit, if it wasn't John Terry involved, and someone told me two sides to a story - one, that a player claims he was called a black c**t (not even sure if that's even what Ferdinand claims - more what he heard repeated from another person) and that the alleged offender apologized after the game. The second, that the alleged offender actually came up after the game to say he's sorry that Ferdinand had the impression that he called him a black c**t, and is was actually blind c**t and it was just the heat of the moment.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostIt would be plausible, he wouldn't have come up with the alternate story if it wasn't plausible. I'm not so sure. Both are a possibility. Both are plausible.
The video isn't as clear cut as we'd like either, the fact that people are still debating over what was said months ago is evidence of that.
TBH though, I'm not invested enough in the case to know what the 'word' is on this case (more interested in the Luis one naturally).....what's the testimony of all these lip-reading 'experts' that magically appear after things like this happen ?
My apologies if my understanding of the 'facts' around this one isn't up to speed, but you can only hope justice is done - if he's innocent, he should rightly be found that way......if he's guilty, he should get done for the fine, community service, whatever."I will make the boys feel your support"
