I think it is a joke that terry has managed to delay the case until after the Euros! just so he can play! i think capello should leave him out of the squad to avoid any further distraction to our hopes! he should have learnt from what he did last time and the affect that had on the world cup! leave him at home and forget about him i say!

I know someone who complained to police about Suarez/ Evra. So the difference is not that someone complained but that the police see sufficient evidence against Terry to pursue. There was insufficient evidence against Suarez.

John Terry won't be facing trial for Racial abuse until after euro 2012.

I think John Terry's plan was, get good lawyer, stall the Court case, play in the euro's , then retire from England.

                  I know.

I just think we should be treating this case now as we would have wanted Suarez to be dealt with. Rather then wanting him banned for something that's unproven. Surely we have learnt something from our experiences? Chelsea fans are going through a pretty similar experience to us, albeit with a bit more leeway from the media, and I just think back to how frustrating it all was for us.

The FA have clearly just taken on board our protestations regarding their process from the Suarez case. We should be lauding their responsiveness.

Seriousness of charge against Terry underlined by fact that Chelsea ban for life any fan guilty of racism. A lot at stake...
I find it hard to get my head around how, on one hand, it's a serious charge etc, but on the other, the worst punishment he can get is a £2500 fine.

That's all they used to ban Suarez.

Because in the scheme of things, it's not very serious. In the hysterical world of football, it's the ultimate offense.

They didn't ban him before he was found guilty though.

Well all they used to find him guilty was suspicion - and that verdict is what brought the ban.

Hence suspicion is all they used to ban Suarez.

They banned him on evidence given by Evra. Not suspicion. It doesn't matter how reliable the evidence was though.
