My understanding was that the punishment is set based on the rules he was 'shown' to have broken. Which would be the same for both him and Terry if proved. Same rule didn't apply to Ferdinand who was charged under a different rule.Originally posted by Nick77 View PostLet me re-phrase as I'm not saying Suarez is less guilty than Ferdinand. I'm saying based on the FA's logic & reasoning (or lack of), Ferdinand's punishment should have been & Terry's punishment should be more severe than Suarez's, that's all.
Are you sure?Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostThe most he will get is 4 games, Suarez got his doubled from 4 to 8 because the FA found him guilty of doing it on multiple occasions. As far as I'm aware Terry only said it once...
I think Suarez got 4 games for the insulting behaviour and it was doubled due to the mention of race shebang. The same would then be the case for Terry.
Does beg the question why the **** did Evra not get 4 games off for abusing the **** out of Suarez, but there we go.
I very much hope Terry gets ****ed by the FA. If he does then people may understand the difference in burden of proof. Then again that might be expecting too much, of the FA and of people.Like blood on iron

but it seems the FA don't take that into account.Originally posted by Kenneth View Post'It' being a different order of magnitude completely. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'd let them off with that skullduggery if the story was Hodgson being sacked.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostProbably waiting for some huge football story to break then they can announce the verdict at the same time and avoid it hitting the back pages
Football without Origi is nothing
