No, not anymore as there were a number of transfers that fell through due to supposed issues with sending or receiving faxes.

Everything is uploaded now and sent digitally. And to avoid delays with registering and so on, the PL and FA get the required documents from the same portal at the same time. There are similar portals used by other European leagues and afaik FIFA have a system/portal in place for European to/from other parts of the world.

But the fax side of things is well and truly gone and only said in jest now or by idiots on Sky Sports who do not seem to know things have moved on.

I'm shocked that such a state-of-the-art technology could fail like that

That surely must be the end for fax machines as surely football was the only industry still using them

The Premier League is investigating Chelsea for potential financial rule breaches during Roman Abramovich's ownership of the club.

Chelsea's new owners reported their own club to UEFA and the Premier League after their takeover last summer.

At present, Chelsea have not been charged with anything by the Premier League. If they were found guilty of rule breaches, sanctions could include a fine or a points deduction.

On July 28, UEFA announced they had fined Chelsea €10m (£8.6m) for "submitting incomplete financial information" between 2012 and 2019.

When approached by Sky Sports News, Chelsea chose not to comment.

If they take as long to investigate this as they have done City we will still be waiting for something to happen in 2030.

The City investigation was never going to be anything less than a 2 to 4 year process though.

The meat of that will not be made public until at least late 2024 or 2025 imo.

What I don't get is where is the cash coming from ? Abromivich bankrolled then to around £70-£100m a season with sizeable spending, this is an investment funds committing to £500+ over four years without the income to pay, if I was an investor in Clearlake I'd be ****ting my pants at what is going on, remember they have a commitment to a £1.6b refurb/new stadium to find as well.
I make no apologies, this is me

Read that Saudi own a chunk of Clearlake so probably no issue there

Tory governmentalso massively assisted the club for sure, almost akin to being owned by a nation state that deal concocted from gov & Todd

They're a pyramid scheme, by the next transfer window they're going to have to sign 33 pliers

And they don't have European football this season, nor, bizarrely, a front of shirt sponsor.

I have no idea where this will end, but if I was a Chelsea supporter, I'd be pretty concerned.
                                Oh I don't know.
