I'm from (just outside) Leeds, my mood revolves around (amongst other things LFC) & Id rather we won a friendly than England won the World Cup if that helps clarify the issue.

I'm not saying you or I, or anyone else on here is ingurland till we die. But to suggest England supporters are only from London or places with **** football teams seems wilfully wrongheaded to me.Comment

I reckon most football supporters don't give a **** about England. I don't know any who do. I'm astonished that people here seem to do.Comment

But that's a club versus country thing. I'm disagreeing with you making sweeping statements about England supporters being from London (by the way what's your beef with London?) and from places dismissed as having **** football teams.Comment
-
I don't care what you think or what anyone else thinks. I have never met a Liverpool supporter who gives a **** about England.Comment

OK. Probably best not to take it further, as that's got chuff all to do with what I was saying. Guess we're not getting where each other is coming from but not worth clogging up the forum. And I rarely get my point across well after midnight with booze in my belly.
No offence intended.Comment

I'm not offended at all.
I just don't understand why anyone who supports Liverpool would give a flying **** about England? It doesn't make any sense.

Christ, you've lured me back in.
I'm not saying that. I don't give a ****. You don't give a ****. We all here don'tgive a **** about England . I get that.
The thing that irked me was you proclaiming that all England supporters are from London or condescendingly from places with **** football teams. I rdisagree. It's not important though.Comment

Because at the end of the day they're still English, and given there's no direct rivalry between Liverpool and England it's not unreasonable to support both.Comment

I don't think there's much support for England in London at all. Nearly a 3rd of the premier league is London teams. You're right about small places though, East Midlands and M4 corridor always strikes me as where most would be situatedI said that most England supporters come from London and small places that don't have successful football teams. As far as I can see that's correct. This is quite a tedious discussion, I'm boring myself now. I don't give a **** whether England win the next world cup or come bottom of their group. It doesn't mean anything.Comment
