I remember being quite excited when we signed him, he always seemed to play well against us. I hope he moves elsewhere this transfer window and gets his playing career back on track. Some footballers would be happy to sit on their rapidly expanding arse and just collect the cash, I hope Joe Cole isn't one of those players.

Wherever he ends up, I bet we will still end up paying a percentage of his wages.

@LeeClayton_: No business between West Ham and Liverpool for Joe Cole, no contact with the player and currently no chance of any deal. Sad to say.
Why are we trying to tell him anyway, future manager Gerrard said he's as good as Messi...

Hope not, best deal for all parties would be to release him on a free transfer so he get's a decent signing on fee and wages at another club.

I'm at risk of being laughed off this forum for this but at his age and with his wealth, wouldn't you just ****ing want to play football?
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

I'd do the same but I am not so sure that he is willing to forgo his nice 100,000/week paycheques.

I wouldn't want to move there either it's ****ing cold.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

We should have made him a part of the Carroll deal

Mate of mine has very good contacts within Everton. Claims they put in a loan bid for Cole on the last day of the window but only offering to pay 10k a week of his wages. Seems LFC were happy with that but Cole didn't want to go.

Looks like he's here for the long haul.

How long is left on his contract?
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.
