I remember being quite excited when we signed him, he always seemed to play well against us. I hope he moves elsewhere this transfer window and gets his playing career back on track. Some footballers would be happy to sit on their rapidly expanding arse and just collect the cash, I hope Joe Cole isn't one of those players.

Wherever he ends up, I bet we will still end up paying a percentage of his wages.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostI remember being quite excited when we signed him, he always seemed to play well against us. I'd do the same but I am not so sure that he is willing to forgo his nice 100,000/week paycheques.Originally posted by Joey Jones View PostHope not, best deal for all parties would be to release him on a free transfer so he get's a decent signing on fee and wages at another club.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Looks like he's here for the long haul.Originally posted by draize View PostMate of mine has very good contacts within Everton. Claims they put in a loan bid for Cole on the last day of the window but only offering to pay 10k a week of his wages. Seems LFC were happy with that but Cole didn't want to go.
