I know he's entitled to the money as we gave him the contract, but at his age surely playing regular football should be a higher priority than earning loads of wedge.

We would be better off reaching a settlement with him. He doesn't even look like he is able to physically compete. That has to be down to him and his own preparation. The absolute basics aren't even there and it's sad that he is taking a squad place from someone who might be able to give something more.

He had a crap injury plagued season and went to France. He's back and had too few minutes to judge him at all. Not faith just fairness. His attitude is good and I hope he does well.
