Brought in to play a specific role and never got played there as Rodgers completely changed his game up when he realised Gerrard wasn't a barn storming attacker anymore.

At Swansea it was Britton, Allen, Gylfi. At LFC it was supposed to be Lucas, Allen, Gerrard.

All change when Lucas came back slow from injury, Gerrard was too slow & Henderson did better than thought.

I wonder if Brendan ever goes back to the 433 vision and plays Allen in his best role?
