I've not been hugely impressed with him. Other than the first time he appeared on the radar (the England-Denmark game), he has been pretty average every time I have seen him play. And where would he fit in our current team?My kebab comes with chilli sauceComment

I haven't been that impressed when I've seen him play but that's probably only once or twice..

Eriksen have been great for Ajax for a couple of seasons now, but fairly poor in the national team, where he does tend to disappear from games. He is a very good team player, in a team that functions, but he doesn't seem to be ready to carry a team / being the focal point of a team yet. He couldn't for example replace Gerrard as it looks now, but maybe a few years down the road. He is a different player though, that would require some fitting in.
I really like Eriksen, have a bright future ahead of him, but I feel like he is destined for Spanish footy...Comment

I don't see where he would fit? At the top of a midfield 3? but we already have henderson and now Coutinho, i know the latter might start out playing more wide left but i think long-term he will play more centrally.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

Eriksen would be a tremendous signing and one I would be extremely happy with.
Still, I look forward to seeing at least *some* tenous links to defenders soon - of a higher calibre than Ashley Williams - as that is where out priorities will lie.Comment
