The lure of CL might be a draw for him BUT if they see Bale on the move in the summer which is more than probable it would certainly raise concerns that they're unable to keep top players and therefore a short term move.

I hope we're working ****ing hard selling the idea we see him as Gerrards successor and along with Suarez & Coutinho we want to build the team around him
