Good news if you ask we, we need a defensive midfielder not an attacking midfielder. If we are looking for goals and creativity we need a winger to replace Downing. I'd much rather see Tello arrive than Eriksen.

These are the players I think we need in this order of priority
1. Keeper (if Pepe goes)
2. CB
3. Holding midfielder
4. Winger
5. Fullback

If Pepe is wants out then we should definately try and get Tello to kill two birds with one stone.

If we can only strengthen one area - it's defense. With a combination of people leaving (Carragher, Coates) and others not being consistently good enough (Skrtel, Enrique) we need to seriously sort the back four out.

Exactly. If we have to concentrate our limited (I'm sure we wont have loads to spend) the concentrate it on the areas we are weakest.

Eriksen would be a luxury player - maybe we could convince him to join us with help from Agger and Suarez but if we signed him and didn't get decent defenders in then we'd be in for another season of silly mistakes at the back costing us in the big games but then butt-****ing **** teams. Can't have that. We need to be more comfortable at 0-0 and 1-0 before we think about the 6-0 results.
