If buying Aspas and loaning Moses meant that Ibe, Borini and Assaidi could get game time elsewhere and become better players then surely it's been worth it ?

well thats my point....if we didn't sign either, and kept suso/assaidi for example - and everything played out the same (ie, we didn't have injuries, results/team selections the same)

then if suso/assaidi were used instead of alberto/suso - we'd be no worse off and have £15m in the bank

thats the only benefit/plus.....however whilst getting game time for Ibe and Borini would have been good for us.....Assaidi, he's a nothing playing like aspas though -

we could have loaned out ibe and borini and benefit
kept assaidi for the year as cover
not signed aspas

and been no worse off
