He's a can of piss signing.

And how does Emre feel about being used in such a manner?

He's a good player. Just because he's not suited to our system of running around a lot, doesn't make it any different. Wrong player for us. So far wrong its actually unbelievable anyone sanctioned the signing. Same goes for Lambert.
        Bob he isn't mate, he's ****ing ****.

You can't defend the indefensible. Yes he's not getting games but you have to ask yourself why.

He's a clown and useless cunt who's got no interest in playing for us whatsoever. As someone mentioned above, he's mugging us all off.

I really don't understand the signing of Balotelli, I mean everyone knew what he was like, admittedly we all thought he would have been involved more than he has been but I don't think anyone on here or anyone I have spoken to thought it was a good idea to sign him. Did someone at the club think that they were being smart because they thought we could turn him around or was it just a panic buy? I don't think there was any realistic situation where we could see this working out. Whoever's idea it was to convince the transfer committee to go for him shouldn't be involved in our transfer activity again.

It's the "Rodgers will sort him out" attitude. Loads of managers will want to be the one that finally sorts him out but as I said before we signed him, only he can sort himself out and there's precious little sign of that happening. Why should he change when clubs are happy to pay him to be the **** that he's been up to now.

Wrong. The majority view here was that it was a gamble worth taking at £16m. Very few people called it in advance. Remarkable really.

My recollection was that most people were against it before we signed he, but hoped to make the best of it when it was confirmed. I remember alot of people wanted him to come back to the PL for entertainment purposes but not to us

Most clubs get at least one good run of games out of him. We didn't even manage that

We were obviously struggling to buy a striker, which was important context, but the consensus was definitely that it was a good move at £16m.

Yup. I think it was on the whole seen as a low risk punt that if it didn't work out we'd move him on and recoup our cash; not sure that's going to be the case now though!

No I think we'd be lucky to get half of our money back on him now.

It did look like a panic buy at the time, wise or otherwise, and it clearly was. Replacing Suarez went badly wrong. It went right to the wire and we signed him because he was available. In fact he was more than available, Milan seemed desperate to get rid, odd that.

This ****bag should be binned off and the person on the committee who signed him sacked. Shocking error of judgement.

He isn't ****ing ****. What we have seen at times from him is ****ing ****. Could he have done more? Yes. But just as he was having a run where he was effecting games in a positive manner, we get penaltygate and he is back out of the squad. In a team playing with wide men and less importance placed on pressing, he would look much better. That's why rather than put the blame all on Mario, I think its more to do with signing him in the first place. Lambert is a good solid pro, yet in our system he's worse than hopeless. At some point the way we set up has to be looked at.
