Of course I do but it just looks very strange that Juve pulled out of a deal and that no other club is interested.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

damn, thought I'd have killed this thread with my macarena comment....

Its just so much speculation.... none of us know what the deal is, no-one can say if he'll be a success or not...

No-one can even say if it'll be allowed or not...

I've never known such a contentious transfer....oh the inernet era, what a joy it is....

My tuppence worth although it is 5 pages late. Mascherano is a very good player who can add steel to our midfield. There is nothing to lose by getting him on loan till the end of the season, absolutely nothing.
If he proves himself we get ourselves a bargain for 6£ m. If he struggles then fine, send him back to wherever he came from. Simple as.

Who said we'll get him for 6 million REDS? Prices of 18-20 million are being quoted.

sorry i thought that was the price quoted, if it's 18-20£ mill then forget it, we might need a striker for that price like Villa

Tbh I thought MSI were initially after around £18m for both Tevez and Mascherano together, and Tevez was valued higher. Anyway only figure I've seen quoted in connection with us potentially signing Mascherano permanently is £6m.

if its 6m then we should buy him if the loan spell goes well
