not sure about Mascherano, I do view him with a bit of sceptisim as he appears to be one of those players who have been great for us on Champ manager but how good is he in real life? He looked ok for the Argies in the WC but dunno what he was like at Corinthians and River Plate. He's not set West Ham alight, but that maybe due to outside influences.
