    and just for pure sentimentality my real favourite is probably owen's penalty in the last minute vs spurs at anfield in Nov 2002. We won 2-1 and it was my last game at anfield before leaving the UK

      True. The recent trend of built, athletic and quick players is all good and well but not a lot of them have the skills that Barnes did.

      King Kenny is on the peripheries of my memory, JB is the reason I started supporting the 'pool. His freekick V Palace in the drubbing we gave them was class.

                      fowlers 2nd v manure @ anfield was special for me when i was a youngster!
                      all the cl final goals going from utter dejection and getting abuse from all around the pub to thinking theres a small chance were back in this, then were back in this, then **** we could win this, then **** we have won this then completly rat arsed!

                        Riise against united at anfield, another cracking goal

                        Crouch's scissor kick goals this season (how does a guy that big do that?)
