Thanjk you.

There is more than likely a lot of truth in what your saying their Alun however did you not see some of the Liverpool fans on Newsnorth west yesterday? They asked them if they had tickets and they said 'No' so the reporter asked them what they would be doing for the game and they said 'we are scousers we always get in no matter what'
Also they asked another lot who didn't have tickets what they were going to do and they said nick them.
Wasn't that humour again?
And if it wasn't from whom did they mean. If they meant fellow fans then they're scum, if they meant touts then good luck to them. I was advocating the very same!
Now I agree with what you say but there is still an element of fans who went there without tickets and tried to force there way in.
Organise the game for the fans and you don't get that. The authorities are repeating all the **** that they did in the run up to Hillsborough I'm afraid and it's frightening.
When the bulk of the people who travelled to Athens didn't have a ticket then its scary as hell that this is the norm to travel to a big game without a ticket.
We had 40,000 fans in Athens, only 17,000 will have had a ticket at most.
That means that it was the "norm" to travel to a big game without a ticket. That's UEFA's fault, and the consequences are scary as **** if this becomes how it is for all big games.
Everyone would condemn ticket snatchers. But on the other stuff thats a much different view than what UEFA and the Greek police are pushing in the media.
The greek authorities had NO idea how to organise the event. I'm surprised because they had the olympics, but i spose footie's different.
They seemed like they had put a plan in place, but once it was clearly not working, they stuck with it as if nothing was going wrong.
Just seen Galliard on tv saying fans without tickets went to the stadium despite being told in advance not to - that's bollocks because you couldnt get closer then 1/4 of a kilometre from the ground without a ticket (whether it's fake or real). Some tickets were scanned with UV light to check if real or not, some werent. It was pot luck.
But no, nobody WITHOUT a ticket got beyond that police cordon.
Thing is UEFA hate Liverpool after what happened in heysel, there was no problems with Milan fans outside the ground because there weren't many of there fans there. Also I am 100% certain that it was the Milan fans that started the fighting, the Italian's should be kicked out of Europe as they have a long long history of trouble at home and away games. Something needs to be done like it was to England in the 80's cause that seemed to stop a lot of it. The longer UEFA let the Italian supporters get away with it the worse it will get, teams actually dred going to Rome or Milan cause of the trouble.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06
Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not talking about news reports or anything said by UEFA - I haven't even read them - I phoned one of my best mates and his girlfriend after the game to ask what the atmosphere was like and how they were and they told me first hand their experiences. I'm disgusted by what happened to them - I know that they cancelled their summer holidays and spent their savings to go on this dream trip. Uefa **** ups or not - you don't interfere with other people who are lucky enough to legitimately get tickets just because you missed out.
You don't snatch tickets from fellow fans - on that we agree.
The rest seems far more indirect. People were probably sat in the ground not knowing they were in someone's seat because they'd gone and spent a grand on a forgery.
That's not their fault, that's ultimately UEFA's for nurturing this sordid black market.

While I totally agree that the ticketting situation was a **** up from start to finish, there's no way that you can use it as an excuse to storm the ****ing gates, steal tickets off fellow fans.
Not sure what I think about forgeries - some people would have bought them in good faith, but presumably quite a few people also went in knowing they were fake.
Quote of the year :
"With monkey me, dogface dishwasher bitch and chimp the ****ing champ you. We are turning into a raving party here arent we"
But no, nobody WITHOUT a ticket got beyond that police cordon.
is that right
Ok, let's try again. People were checked for tickets - if the police were stupid enough to not be able to tell what IS a ticket and what ISNT, then that's another story.

Exactly. Why the **** UEFA have had the cheek to allocate themselves so many tickets to big-gun ****s who have no interest in day to day football can sit on their fat arses sipping away on Champagne whilst the fans who are part of the game have to deal with riot police and ticket snatchers and the like outside is unbelievable.
UEFA seem to 'hope' that they have a final of two footballing teams (such as Lyon etc.) who have only about 17000 fans. It must change but it won't!
