wrong again, if you think its limited to 16/30 year olds who want to fight you are dilusional"People from Liverpool have got something about them and, if they’re not happy about something, they let people know.”

Yes, I'm sure we can all chuckle and the inventiveness of a few scallies finding a way in - whole different story if it's hundreds or even thousands of people.Originally posted by alunevans View Post**** that lad.
how can a few lads bunking in as a threat to fans safety be compared to the way uefa have organised this. THEY are the threat to fans safety. THEY are the scum.
a few lads bunking in are just a few lads desperate to see their team because the only way they can get in is to pay a grand to the tout that ****ing UEFA have given a ticket to in the first place.
if you give a **** about fans safety look far higher up the food chain.
seats or no ****ing seats, i guarantee you another hillsborough WILL happen sooner or later if this is how it carries on.
and it'll be a well supported club who it will happen to again.
i'm well pissed off with this.
I'm just finding it very difficult to blame UEFA for people's actions. The situation's ****, but you don't make it ****ing worse. And anyone who got in last night without a ticket, leading to fans with tickets not getting in, is no ****ing better than someone who snatched a ****ing ticket.
Tell me how it's different, other than the physical contact with the person you are spoiling it for?Quote of the year :

Corporate ******s or not this thing has been going on for years and it's an accepted state of affairs.Originally posted by alunevans View Postwell i wouldn't object to that to be honest but i tell you what, it'd lead to an empty stadium because the corporate ******s dont want to go. and they get all the tickets.
maybe thats the first step then. glastonbury have managed it.
maybe we need an empty stadium for them to get this mess sorted out, instead of feeding the black market, waiting for fans to kick off and then piously pointing the finger.
RFID chip or not, there would still be scums going to these venues without tickets either to cause mayhem or to try to force their way in one way or the other.

i'm pretty certain that the bulk of the people who were in other people's seats were people who unwitting bought a forgery.Originally posted by disco View PostYes, I'm sure we can all chuckle and the inventiveness of a few scallies finding a way in - whole different story if it's hundreds or even thousands of people.

i doubt it was thousands literally bunking in. if thats your claim then i'd like to see the evidence.
if there is no evidence then the only way the stadium could be "full" is if people had gotten in with forgeries.
given that forgeries were reportedly highly difficult to spot due to the crappy production value of the real tickets, then i'm not going to blame those fans who spent £600 to unwittingly sit in someone else's seat.
i think you're looking at the peripheral issues and not the main ones.
the stadium was not full due to people literally bunking in, unless you can demonstrate that.

Without knowing all the facts at the moment I'd have to place the blame for what happened at the stadium, in decending order, on UEFA, the greek organisers, a very small minority of Liverpool fans.
UEFA should take a long hard look at their ticket allocating process and on producing tickets that are of the highest quality to reduce/eliminate forgeries.
The greek organisers should have aticipated the ammount of fans that would show up and have alot more checks to prevent fans having to congregate around check points and coralling them through narrow access points.
Those who stole tickets are not fans. Those you got in without a ticket are not fans. Those who knowingly bought a forgery are not fans. All of these should have been stopped by the police/check points.Last edited by The incredible igor; 24-05-07, 11:14 AM.*

Bollocks mate, why's it end of?Originally posted by SCOUSERTOMMY View Post:whatever: end of
"It's been happening for ages and will keep happening" doesnt make it right.
When people get in by bunking through, an obvious consequence is overcrowding and potentially a crush.
And yet, they still do it. Care a lot about their fellow fans, dont they?
Fecking ****s IMO.
And i couldnt give a sh*t what you think of that or what smiley you use to abuse me. If you're suggesting that it's ok to potentially cause that kind of danger to fellow fans, then that's very sad.

lets put it this way
if apple launch a new gadget tomorrow. its the future everyone wants it. they can only have 1000 available at hte end of the week. millions of people want them. it is launched huge queues at the shop the first 1000 in the queue get the gadget. millions dissapointed.
now if people start stealing them off the lucky 1000 who is responsible Apple or the thieves
It would really dissapoint me if it is not the thiefs fault cause if it is then we are saying it is ok to steal something becasue you want one and other people have one and i cant get it any more.
