Not liking the reports coming out from Athens

like it or not, we do have an element of fans who are indeed scum and will rip off other fans coz they just don't care about anything human.

Last year at the FA Cup Final, I experienced ths first hand. My mate and I were entering the stadium and we got through the first security check and were about to enter the gates when one such scum element ripped the ticket from my mates hand and starting running.... I was in full cry and rugby tackled him.....the coppers and security were slack and this bloke threw my ticket away - luckily another fan saw him throw it....thankfully i had proof of ticket allocation from the club and the cops gave me the ticket back.....to this day the thing that I am pissed off with is that I probably had the oppurtunity to press charges and teach this bloke a lesson, but i was just so chuffed to get the ticket back that i walked away!

There is a scum element, and the sooner they are erradicated the better

Why cant you just admit that we've got a small percentage of fans who dont give a sh*t about whether they cause damage or worse to fellow fans, and that it's knutish to be that way?

Uefa are ***** they see the CL has a money making scheme and not for the fans having said that we as fans must shoulder some of the blame for last night as well.

I agree with everything Alun has said but I do think that an element of fans last night were in the wrong.

I agree that the ticket allocation is a Joke but if every final was at Wembley or the nou camp then there will be people who miss out. infact there may still be people that miss out.

if our fans where going around stealing tickets off one another and trying to get in wothout paying then those fans have to be held responsible forthere actions.

to blame Uefa for the actions of those is wrong. Yes when you dig deep then the ticket allocation is an issue and Uefa need to look at that to try to prevent it happening again but lets not use that to take away that we are all adults and are responsible for what we do.

I didnt have a ticket. i did think about going to Athens. i thought even if i cant get one then it would be a good atmosphere to be there. however if i did go what ever i did would be my fault not the fault of Uefa that there wherent enough tickets to mean i would get one.
