but he doesn't ... he misses more games than he plays. i don't wish anything bad for him, but he's a crock and his days at liverpool are over. let him out to pasture at man city or fulham.

i honestly can't understand the constant owen threads. let it go already, he's not coming back and we're better off for it.
when things go wrong, don't walk away.
    that'll only make it harder.

We've been a poorer side in attack since Owen left in my opinion. If Torres doesn't live up to the hype we've spent a lot of money trying to replace him with no real success. That's not to say we've bought crap, Crouch has had his moments certainly if not consistently enough to persuade Rafa to keep him in the team.

We need a striker that opponents fear. Arsenal had Henry. Chelsea have Drogba. United have Rooney, all be it perhaps not an out and out striker. We had Owen. We don't currently have anyone in that class and considering the money that has been spent by Rafa on front men - well over 60M - we really should do.

I could see Owen going to Everton tbh.

Now THAT would seal any chance of any LFC fan EVER wanting him back.
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

If Torres adapts, he is a far better player than Owen and would be feared by every club.
