Solving it is easy. Gerrard in midfield is not working, he may lead the attack but his ability to win the 2nd ball is zero. OUr winless streak has conincided exactly with his return to the first team.Originally posted by Red_Al_77 View PostThe season is slowly imploding for us and Rafa seems to be clueless as to how to solve it. We are boring, one paced, too rigid, and lacking in skill. Our performances early season papered over the cracks which fundamentally still exist.
Real issue is, does Rafa have the balls to drop him?The Crushing Machine MKII

This better be the kick up the arse that some of these ****ers needed because most tonight played like they needed one huge ****in kick up the arse. Now they have got it they best ****in respond like red men and put some ****in pride and passion back into our play.Im not arsed about stepovers and one-two`s, nice to see, but what I expect is 100% commitment, none of this 110% bollocks.

Absolutely spot on.Originally posted by desertscouser View PostMomo is 'boss' one game out of 5. He's not a footballer. He can't pass the ball...it's pathetic. He's fine in a 5 man midfield where we need someone like him to race around and tackle every player on the pitch but in a 4 man midfield where we need players to keep posession he's pure gash. rubbish. crap.

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Momo tonight made Diao look like Zidane. If he isn't dropped for the next game then Rafa's got rocks in his head.

No as bad as that though.Originally posted by alunevans View PostI wish. It's been five on the trot on my count.
We looked completely inept tonight.
Though I'll grant you we've been building up to it. We've been crusing for brusing with our current form.
Time for one of those dreaded Houllier corners to appear.I hate Polanski

Yep, we raved on about playing like 80s side of pass and move when we beat Derby. Hold on, Derby?! What the ****? This is the most ****test side since that god awful Sunderland side. We need to take the rose tainted glasses and realise this isn't the best side and we need to rise the roof when teams coming to Anfield.

leto riise and then benayoun on the left in the first 70 minutes, its only been about 15 years now and any day now we should have that left sorted."People from Liverpool have got something about them and, if they’re not happy about something, they let people know.”
