i find that very hard to believe. How can the modern player be tired by early October?

We didn't have a player to play the ball our of defence today, with Stevie having to do that job and Momo having a stinker. That has been our downfall as our passing game didn't materialise at all. We couldn't make two passes all game and didn't create anything until the last 15 mins.

Marseille were the better team, that is all. We couldn't match them. It's worrying.

Question for Rafa. Seeing that everyone could see Momo was having a stinker and costing us posession when we desperately needed it - why did none of his three substitutions deal with that?

He even mentioned in his interview that we were poor through the middle. Yet none of his changes addressed that.
