First he played for England after more or less not trained at all for two weeks or so and then he played another game after that just a few days later.

He was very tired after the first game and even had to come off because he had cramp. He then played excellent in the second game and gave 100% for 90 minutes.

He needed a week or two off after the England games but we couldn't give him that when Alonso got injured.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Rafa made mistakes yes but if we end up winning the league who will remember this game ?
      Err............all of us?

We came with the belief we could have won- the players didn't take that sort of belief to Marseille. When we play teams, we should start on a high tempo, get the crowd something to sing about.

Yeah but at least that put us in a position to "turn another corner".

Also Leto did a brilliant Cheyrou impression.

Is right. And if Rafa keeps this rotation crap up it will smack of Houllier's stubborness too. I rate Rafa but he's truly, truly trying my patience with his "craetive" buys and rotation sh*te.

We'll probably still win this group. For some perverse reason we seem to play better when we're up against it.

When I saw the draw for this group my first thoughts were that's too easy, we'll make it difficult somehow.

We'll come good. We always do. We just need to do it while we're still in contention for the main trophies.

A run of six or seven wins would be mighty welcome right now

Based on how we've played over the last 5 games, we won't be winning **** all this season. WE MUST IMPROVE. That includes Rafa and all the sh!t house players on the pitch tonight. No one is immune from criticism especially after gutless performances like that.

Djimi was boss but then he played football and played for us.

Players won't be tired now but they could well have no legs in May if they play every ****ing game.

Did anyone hear YNWA at the final whistle, I don't remember hearing it, which is very odd
